Our Collaborations & Projects
Sisters Living Beyond the Ribbon is proud to collaborate with local organizations, healthcare professionals, community partners, and fellow advocates to support people affected by cancer. Through meaningful projects, outreach initiatives, educational programs, fundraising efforts, and community events, we work to raise awareness, provide encouragement, and create opportunities for connection and support. Our involvement in these collaborations helps strengthen our mission of reminding everyone that they are not alone—during treatment, in survivorship, and beyond the ribbon.
Patient and Investigator Voices Organizing Together PIVOT
Patient and Investigator Voices Organizing Together, PIVOT for short, is a patient research advocacy initiative at The University of Kansas Cancer Center. PIVOT provides cancer survivors, co-survivors and researchers the opportunity to work together to design research that may lead to improved treatments and therapies.
